I’ve been to several michoacnas and never had a problem but I was disappointed by this locations service. Made me pay twice for an order they made incorrectly. Got the brownie magic, when it came to asking flavor of syrup, I said chocolate, my bf also repeated it in Spanish so she could better understand. When it came out with strawberry- he asked about it and they told him both he and I had remembered wrong within 10 minutes and refused to help in any way. I had to reorder and repay to get the correct order.

Walked into this spot not knowing what to expect, and I left very happy (and very full). 🍽️ The lady behind the counter was incredibly positive and helpful—since it was my first time, I just told her my general preferences, and she worked her magic to pick the perfect meal for me. The food? Delicious. The shake? Absolutely on point. 🥤 And the vibe? So fun! The Spanish-style music had me tapping my feet the whole time—I almost broke out into a dance, but I figured I’d spare everyone. 💃😂 Prices were solid, the bathroom was clean (major bonus), and the whole experience was just awesome. Definitely recommend! 🥳🇭🇳💙

La Michoacana offers a truly delightful Mexican dining experience. The food is nothing short of spectacular, providing a perfect blend of traditional flavors and innovative twists. The chicharrones were perfectly crispy and well-seasoned, a comforting reminder of the classic Mexican dish. The elote, paired with flaming hot Cheetos, was a revelation - the heat of the Cheetos perfectly complemented the creamy, sweet corn. This unexpected combination was a delightful surprise and a must-try! La Michoacana serves up delicious, authentic Mexican food that is sure to satisfy your taste buds. Highly recommended!

Response to owner: I made an $18 purchase. I was refunded the value of the mangoneada.($10+) and received an unpleasant look. Please review your cameras. It is absolutely necessary to find out why there would be an actual metal screw in the ice cream. 🤷🤷 I would have to say.... 1st time trying a Mangoneada. And not even half way down the ice cream. I found an actual screw in the cup 🥤. Worst 1st experience ever!!

This place is a hidden gem in Athens. I take the kids here, and myself, for ice cream but they have so much more. Elote, mangomacha, and even nachos. We love this place and the price is an added bonus.
